Sharon is a survivor and a DV advocate and consultant. Over the last 7 years she has used her experience coupled with her professional training as an IDVA and in delivering the Freedom programme to support women and children who experience DV and are involved with the Child Protection system in Westminster. She has written of her experiences in a published work ” Getting Out” Caroline Jory et al.She is a long standing member of CAADA and has campaigned for a DV court and services nationally and in Westminster for many years. She is deputy chair of the DV Forum and leads on justice for women workstreams. She is tenacious and compassionate. She is a strong advocate for women and children across services and is respected widely in the area.
